Kaitlyn is an expert educator and researcher. She has an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies, along with a Bachelor of Education with teachable subjects in English and Geography. Following her teacher training, Kaitlyn completed her Master of Arts in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies, and finally, her doctorate in Education Studies.

Kaitlyn has worked in education for over a decade at the elementary, secondary, and post-secondary levels, as well as with non-profit education organizations. Kaitlyn’s curricular, pedagogical, and research interests focus on equity, decolonization, and reconciliation. As an Educational Developer, Kaitlyn supports university program review, curriculum development, and Indigenization. Kaitlyn also works one-on-one with educators to develop courses, design assessments, and integrate meaningful teaching strategies.
